JANE HASTINGS, owner of Mad About Fitness, is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Business Administration. She started in the fitness industry in 1983. Mad About Fitness opened in 1998. Jane is certified by:
She is also a member of the International Association of Fitness Professionals (IDEA), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) J ane has been involved in sports and athletics most of her life, competing in tennis and swimming in her earlier years and triathlons as an adult. She's an avid cyclist, downhill skier and cross country skier. A long with general fitness training, Jane specializes in health and wellness of seniors and rehabilitative exercise of most medical conditions with a subspecialty in cancer exercise rehabilitation. Jane works with clients with various medical conditions such as Parkinson's, diabetes, inclusion body myositis, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, cardiac and stroke conditions, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.Regardless of your age or health status, you can still reap the benefits of exercise and wellness training.

COLLEEN SANDERSON has been in the fitness/health industry as a professional for 6 years. Prior to her training in this field, Colleen was an elementary school teacher specializing in physical education. Colleen
is certfied as a Personal Trainer with the American Council on Excercise
(ACE). Since 1998 she has had additional training in senior fitness and
Yoga, arthritis management, pre & post menopausal health and cancer
rehabilitation exercise. She focuses
on understanding her clients' needs and desires and offers the expertise
of a personal health and fitness consultant.

Erin Jansen graduated in 1999 from Doane College receiving a BS in Physical Education. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been working as a personal trainer since 2000. Erin was born and raised in the small town of Exeter, NE where she had the opportunity to play many sports. She continued to pursue Basketball into college for a couple of years. At Doane College she also assisted an Athletic Trainer for credited hours of taping and post-rehabilitation. After school the mountains seemed to call my name so Denver became her new home. In 2000, Erin began working as a personal trainer and in 2002 she also began working in the rehabilitative setting. She worked closely with a physical therapist who is trained in T'ai Chi, Yoga, Dance, Manual Therapy, and Spinal Stabilization. She assisted with all patient care and taught patients Pilates based Matwork, pre/post natal exercise, spinal stabilization, and general rehabilitation. She is now utilizing her background in patient care, rehabilitation, and fitness training to work solely as a personal trainer. She is very passionate about health and is always seeking the opportunity to enhance the well being of those around her.

Julie Price graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Journalism, has a degree from the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) and is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Julie grew up being active. At age five she started competitively swimming as well as skiing. Not satisfied with just one sport; golf, tennis and softball consumed her time as well and tennis instruction soon followed. In 1998 Julie trained with the North Washington Fire Fighting Academy and received her Fire Fighting I certificate. In 2001 she was recruited by the Aurora Police Department, graduated with an impressive physical fitness award and spent two years as an Aurora police officer. Her true passion being health and wellness, Julie branched out to become a certified personal trainer and nutritional consultant. Julie has spent her professional life working with an extensive variety of people and clients and enjoys the challenges that come with encouraging others to live life to their absolute fullest potential. She lives by the motto, "believe in the power of now."
